Finn Valley Cottages has a partnership with Urney Creations operated by Gloria Perry who specialises in paverpol. For those who enjoy arts and crafts, this is a perfect opportunity to pick up a new skill in sculpture.

Paverpol is an environmentally friendly fluid that can be used to manipulate fabric. Making the textile rock hard, it is white when it is placed on it but dries transparent within a few hours. The final hardening process takes place between the first and second weeks, depending on the temperature. Uniquely, Paverpol artwork is weather resistant after hardening completely withstanding the worst of Irish weather and beyond.
A former art teacher, Gloria Perry is passionate about creativity and encouraging people to experiment with Paverpol. Gloria’s workshops are relaxed, yet structured, and are designed to awake the artist within. These interactive workshops are perfect for families and for team building days for smaller companies.
Her incredible Paverpol have won critical acclaim throughout the world and local councils often take items from Urney Creations as gifts for trade missions. To add to these accolades, Gloria annually exhibits in Dublin.

Through Finn Valley Cottages, it is possible to do a short course with Urney Creations. With the maximum group size of 12 and the minimum group size of 3, there is potential for a fantastic group outing. There is some flexibility on where the course can take place, depending on the group size it could take place at Finn Valley Cottages or at another close-by venue.

For special group rates, please make contact with Gloria Perry, otherwise a £20 deposit secures your booking for the workshops. Her workshop, ‘From T-shirt to Garden’ has no fixed dates, so get in contact to find a day that suits you. Light refreshments are provided but if you have special dietary requirements, you may wish to bring your own. The other details for Gloria’s workshop are as follows:

● Time: 10am to 3pm approximately. It is usually a three hour
● Materials: All materials are included in the course cost.

The course prices vary depending on the type of Paverpol that you would like to sculpt with.
