LUXURIOUS COTTAGE ESCAPE

We stayed in Foyle cottage over the Christmas period. We were two families of four with teenage children. The house was clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. It is finished to a high standard and the log fire was marvellous for relaxing in the evenings. Anne was most accommodating and provided an extra table and chairs for our Christmas dinner for 12 people (plenty of space in the large kitchen diner area). The location is beautiful, and we had several lovely country walks. I would love to return in the summer. Thank you Anne!

We used both Finn & Derg cottage to explore both Northern Ireland and Donegal. I couldn’t recommend the facilities more highly. We wanted for nothing and it was a great space for multiple families to feel like we’d have shared space but own room too. The quality of all the fittings and the cleanliness of the place were fantastic. Anne is a fabulous host, if you are short of anything (in our case we wanted to bake a birthday cake) she delivered!

Very warm welcome from Anne Speer, superb accommodations, very clean and comfortable. Garage space to work on the car, off street parking for our 30ft service truck. 10 people in our party for six nights. Great value. Good recommendation for evening meals at nearby Smugglers Inn. Highly recommended.

This is my second stay at Finn Valley Cottages. This time I brought my family out for a group holiday and it worked perfectly. We all had our own room with comfortable beds and our own en suite facilities. There was a high chair for my 15 month old niece and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous cottage together. We particularly loved the incredible views out of the big sitting room windows. We again enjoyed the opportunity of being so close to great days out on the causeway and the stunning Donegal coast. I would recommend this as a perfect holiday destination for families. There's a folder giving you the prices and details of lots of different local activities for all ages and Anne's knowledge of local stunning hotspots cannot be matched!
